Editorial Bridal Photoshoot

When Mark Keogh asked if we would like to be part of an upcoming styled editorial bridal photoshoot, we jumped at the chance. We love Mark’s work.

So what is a styled bridal shoot?  This is where a team of bridal professionals gets together and lets their creativity flow.  The end result is incredible images and videography.

This particular shoot was at Mar Hall, a venue where quite a few of our brides have been married or are getting married; however, we had never been there.  Mar Hall recently underwent a huge refurbishment, and it is visible in every aspect of this beautiful property.  If you haven’t visited, we would recommend it.

A photoshoot day can be long, with so many aspects to consider: hair and makeup, including switching up looks for different dresses, the best place for the perfect shots, and more.  Sometimes we don’t get through all the dresses we intend to shoot; time just gets away, but with an incredible team of bridal professionals who knew exactly what needed to be achieved, each and every dress was photographed.

Behind the Lens

What can we say about Mark, apart from bringing the calm and organised vibe to the day!  Everything on the day just flowed without feeling staged or rushed.  His work is rooted in storytelling and capturing genuine candid moments as they unfold and on the day

Meet the Magic Behind the Hair

Sian Hair worked through each look quickly and effortlessly, truly understanding how important every detail is, which really showed in her work.  The hairstyles created were beautiful, natural, and elegant, enhancing each bridal look rather than overpowering it.

The Model Couple

Lisa and Craig are not professional models, well, aside from the fact that they are both personal trainers.   Fresh from their own honeymoon, they stepped back in front of the camera once again, and they moved naturally between each and every pose.  A reminder that the best moments often come from real connection, not perfection.

The Makeup Artist Behind the Shoot

This is the first time we have worked with Rachel. She is super lovely. The makeup chair was the space for laughter, calm, and heartfelt conversation.    The look of the day was natural, soft glam, perfectly camera-ready, while remaining fresh and timeless. Incredible!

Creating the moving moments

We were so excited to finally get the chance to work alongside Rory at RHB Films We’ve admired his work for a long time, but this was the first time we had the pleasure of collaborating with him—and what an experience it was! He’s such a down-to-earth, genuine guy, and his passion for capturing love stories shines through in every frame.
