Wedding Of Hayley and Ben

How did you find out about Sophia Grace Couture?

I first came across Zavana Couture on Instagram, I loved all their dresses but didn’t think I’d be able to find that designer in the UK! I researched where stocked Zavana Couture and came across Sophia Grace. Although there were other stockists closer to home, Sophia Grace’s had a range of designers I that looked of interest.

How would you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?

From my first interaction booking my appointment they were so attentive and took time to get to know me. Prior to my visit, they asked what style dresses I liked, this helped, as I had never been to try dresses on. From the moment I arrived with my mum and maid of honour the store looked luxurious, we were welcomed by Charlotte who was so friendly, she made me and my mum feel so welcome and relaxed.

It must have been love at 1st sight without me realising! Once I’d bought the dress and when home I looked back at dresses, I had saved online that was one of them! I tried about 4/5 dresses on and I loved little bits of all of them. Charlotte picked up on little things I was saying and said I think I might have what you’re looking for. Once I tried it on and looked in the mirror, I just knew it was perfect for me! I was what I wanted to look like as a bride!

How did you meet?  Are you happy to tell us about the proposal?

Ben and I met on a night out way back in 2013! We had always had mutual friends but had never actually met each other! After the first time we met Ben went away to work for 4 weeks so never had chance to had a date. For the 4 weeks he was away we chatted and got to know each other better. We then had a day upon his return and the rest was history!

What was your inspiration for your wedding?  Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

Once I found my venue that set the tone for the rest of the wedding, Runa Farm is a boho vibe, so I wanted everything quite plain, other than my dress, that was a statement piece!

What made you decide upon your chosen venue?

Runa Farm was the 2nd venue we viewed. I first seen it online and attended an open evening. From the moment we walked we knew it ticked boxes we didn’t know we had. We loved the decor and the way the venue is broken up into different areas, the chapel, wedding breakfast room and the bar area. Cannot recommend this venue enough the staff at Runa Farm were second to none!

Tell us about your wedding

MY DREAM WEDDING! Actually, better than I could have ever dreamt. The day was perfect, it was filled with love and laughter. Over the past few years, I have attended a fair few of my friend’s wedding, and I love how unique everyone’s wedding is to them. I felt mine and Bens’s wedding day was a true representation of us both, we felt so lucky and loved all day.

What was the most memorable moment?

I struggled to pin it down to one moment, but if I must choose it would be walking back down the aisle once we had tied the knot!! When then confetti were thrown and all our guests started signing to ‘Ain’t no mountain high enough’ I felt like it set the tone for the rest of the day and I could enjoy the rest of the day with Ben there, after having an amazing morning with my bridal party!

Do you have any advice for future brides visiting Sophia Grace Couture?

My advice would be. be prepared to buy your dress there and then. Their dresses are amazing and I don’t know how you could walk away without not finding your dream dress. The girls are experts in what they do and made you feel so comfortable!
