How did you find out about Sophia Grace Couture?
I discovered Sophia Grace Couture while searching online for bridal boutiques with a unique and elegant selection of gowns. After reading glowing reviews and seeing their stunning Instagram feed, I knew I had to visit.
How would you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?
It was truly magical from the moment I walked in. The boutique has such a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the team made me feel so special. They were incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping me find the perfect dress. I left feeling confident and completely taken care of.
Tell us about your dress and why you chose your particular gown.
My dress was everything I dreamed of — elegant, romantic and a little bit different. I chose a fitted silhouette with delicate lace detailing and a soft tulle over skirt. The moment I put it on, I just knew it was the one. It made me feel like the best version of myself, and I could instantly picture walking down the aisle in it.
How did you meet? Are you happy to tell us about the proposal?
We met through mutual friends — he had been asking me to go on a date for a while, and eventually I said yes, a bit cliché, but sparks flew instantly. The proposal was so thoughtful and completely unexpected. He got down on one knee in Dubai with a private view of the fountains — it was such a surreal and emotional moment. I’ll never forget it, especially because we got to celebrate with our best friends right after. It was perfect.
What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
I wanted our wedding to feel romantic, natural, and effortlessly beautiful. We chose a soft, timeless colour palette of gold, white, champagne, and ivory, which complemented the white chapel and cliffside setting perfectly. The overall vibe was relaxed and minimalist, but with an elegant, refined touch — exactly what I had envisioned.
What made you decide upon your chosen venue?
The venue was love at first sight. With its stunning outdoor cliff-top space offering breathtaking views and a charming white chapel full of character, it felt truly special. We wanted a place that was intimate yet had that undeniable wow factor — and this venue ticked every box perfectly.
Tell us about your wedding
It was honestly the best day of our lives. Surrounded by all our favourite people, everything came together exactly as we’d hoped. There were happy tears, laughter, and so much love filling the air. From the heartfelt ceremony to dancing under fairy lights, every moment felt like a beautiful dream come true.
What was the most memorable moment?
There were so many unforgettable moments, but one that truly stands out was when we first saw each other walking down the aisle. It was incredibly emotional and special — a moment I’ll cherish forever. Adding to that magic, the amazing singer performed my grandad’s favourite song, making it even more perfect and meaningful.
Do you have any advice for future brides visiting Sophia Grace Couture?
Trust the team — they truly know what they’re doing!
Be open to trying on different styles because you might be surprised by what you fall in love with. Most importantly, choose the dress that makes you feel incredible, not just what you think you’re “supposed” to wear.
